We are at the halfway point in our pastor training programs happening now in Goa and Siliguri, India. We have a great line up of teachers who are investing in these pastors. Our dugout of Team RHEMA continues to grow and deliver.
Our first at bat this year was someone new to the team, Dr. Randy Eaton, pastor of Cross Community Church in North Palm Beach FL. Randy is a good friend of mine and I’ve been blessed over the past few years to get to know him and his family. Randy loves to teach, and he did a fantastic job teaching Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation – Hermeneutics.
Following Randy has been James Blankenship (covering Old Testament), Chris Thomas (covering Personal Spiritual Life) , Larry Bazer (New Testament) and Terry Veazey (Evangelism).
In the coming weeks we will have Eric Taylor (Preaching and Pastoral Ministry) Jaison Job (Church Ministry), and Dr. Ron Stewart (covering Doctrine). We have such a great team of teachers.
This year has started with some challenges. Our student batch in Siliguri is smaller than our usual sessions due to the conflict happening in Manipur. We were expecting several students from that northeast India state, but travel from there has come to a pause and many of our prospective students have been displaced or are taking care of their family members who have been displaced. Please pray for the people in that region to find peace and rebuild.
