THE LATEST IN INDIA AMIDST THE COVID-19 CRISIS

RHEMA Global has been in touch with our faculty, graduates, and leaders on our India teams as the world deals with the Corona Virus pandemic. The mandated lockdown in India is the world’s largest and most aggressive lockdown, affecting 1.3 Billion people. It has devastated the poor, leaving millions starving. Although we have not been able to travel and host institutes, we have found other ways to help during this time.

  • Supporting our Student Graduates’ Churches Financially

  • Supporting our Teachers and Faculty Financially

  • Maintaining Communication

  • Praying Together

Many of us have had to react quickly once everything was closed down and come up with new solutions as we move forward. RHEMA Global is no different in that sense. Traveling home from Liberia back in March, we got the first glimpse at precautions and closures taking place. We noticed that it would be a while before we could go back to the countries we host our institutes in and had to quickly devise a plan for ways to reach and support them during this time.

A former student and graduate (2009) of RHEMA Global Institute in India shares an update with us from India in the video below.

As you can see from watching the video, India really needs our support at this time. We are supporting them with prayers, encouragement, and finances to make sure they can help feed their community and their families.

RHEMA Global wants to thank everyone else who has helped during this time. God has given us the strength to endure this time and we worship him and our faith by helping others during this time.

If you can, please donate to help us send funds to our family in Christ in India.
